Another Amazing Year…
December 30, 2016
2016 went by too slowly in some cases, but also quite fast. I wanted to take time to show gratitude for all that I have.
I enjoyed a fantastic Christmas together with my wonderful extended family. My husband’s family came to our house for turkey dinner and merriment. Ages ranged from 1-100, literally (Michael’s dad is 100). We are so fortunate to have strong family bonds- with all of us living in the Bay Area. Everyone gets along, including the in-laws. I am very thankful for that, and look forward to holidays.
In real estate, I had another amazing year. For that I always appreciate my client support. I cannot do it without my fantastic clientele. Through your trust in me, I reached #18 of Keller Williams’ agents nationally. What an honor! I’ve been in the top 50 all year. This is entirely due to great clients who continue to refer me to others. Thank you! I will continue to serve the mid-peninsula of San Mateo County with all my heart.
I’ve done well, so I like to give back. There are two charities that I’d particularly like to mention: CORA and NDNU. Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA) is the only domestic violence agency in San Mateo County. I have started an endowment with them, promising a healthy contribution each year. They do great work for women and children in distress. (http://www.corasupport.org/). Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU) is the only university in San Mateo County. Education is so important to me, and to our society. My husband and I founded the Aspire Higher Scholarship endowment for working students making good grades (like we did, back in the day!) (http://www.ndnu.edu/giving/ways-to-give/). I think that giving back to the community is vital. I don’t want to forget how fortunate I am to live in this great environment, and I will continually work to enhance our community.
So, I thank you all again, friends, clients and family, and wish us all a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year!
