A Heartwarming Account

I received an interesting and unusual call out of the blue the other day. A woman left a message asking if I know Rodrigo Lopez.  LD (for anonymity, we’ll just use her initials) said she had read about Rodrigo Lopez in the SF Chronicle. He had been impacted severely by the recent pandemic. She was moved by his story and wanted to help, but she...

KW REDDay: Help us reach our goal and support Second Harvest Food Bank

Our GoalOur goal is to raise $12,500 for Second Harvest of Silicon Valley. During the COVID-19 public health crisis, kids and families on the brink of poverty are disproportionately impacted. When businesses are closed and hourly wages are scaled back, the service Second Harvest provides is even more critical. Second Harvest is also facing unprecedented challenges with rapid changes to the volunteer workforce and distribution networks....

KW REDday to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank

Join us in making a difference!  One of the reasons I love Keller Williams is the community spirit we share. Each year, we give back to our local community. While we give meaningfully throughout the year, we have a standout event. This annual event is known as RED Day and stands for Renew, Energize, and Donate. You can join us too! This year for our...

My Support for San Mateo-Foster City Education Foundation

Those who know me know how committed I am to education. I like to support local schools because we all do better in a well-educated society. I have a Master’s degree, and my husband is professor emeritus. But these accomplishments would mean less in a society that is not also fully engaged in critical thinking and life-long learning. Think about it. How important is a...

Meadow Heights 2019 Fall Stampede

If you know me, you know I love to help out with our local schools. Meadow Heights (one of my favorite schools) just held their annual Mustang Stampede event. The kids run for a designated amount of time to raise money for music, art and science programs. They have a goal of raising $40,000.  I was happy to sponsor the T-shirts they wore this year....

KW RED DAY

Yesterday was another wonderful day of volunteering for me, my team and the entire Keller Williams office. We participated in the annual RED Day, a day of service to the community where we live. Our contribution this year was service at Fiesta Gardens International School in San Mateo. We not only organized their library and card catalog for the students but also went to the...

Annual Client Appreciation Picnic 2018

The weather cooperated again! Thank you to all my clients who came out in force for my Client Appreciation Picnic. Also many thanks for bringing canned food. We’re making folks at the Samaritan House happy as well. Throwing a picnic is always the most fun I have each year. I’m so glad to see everybody getting together and having a good time. It’s a...

KW RED DAY

Our book drive came to a happy close on Red Day 2018. My team collected and donated almost 500 books to Fair Oaks Elementary School children. Besides the books, KW agents from our Peninsula Estates office in Burlingame spent the afternoon with the children, engaging them in games, sports, face painting, hula hoops, eating good food and listening to mariachi music! For these kids,...

Meadow Heights 2018 Spring Stampede

It was so great to see all the kids let loose at Meadow Heights 2018 Spring Stampede. Given the challenge to go around the course as many times as possible, these children take it seriously. There were walkers, runners, and dancers, but everyone kept going for 15, 20 or 30 minutes, depending on their grade. I was so happy to be a key sponsor...
