Information Happy Hour – January 15, 2020
January 29, 2020

Information Happy Hour was successful again, both informative and delicious! Vidhya Babu Esq. delivered a terrific presentation about myriad ways to hold title in order to best protect our most valuable asset, our home. Mike Gunn delivered knockout appetizers and wines for us to enjoy.
As I have posted before, I like to work with educated and informed clients. But not all topics in my Information Happy Hour are directly tied to Real Estate. This past session (January 15) was about the importance of having an Estate Plan. Death and Taxes… One is unavoidable; the other can be reduced. If we care about what happens to those who remain, we really need to understand the consequences of how we hold title to our property.
Vidhya Babu belongs to the boutique firm: Fox, Shjeflo & Babu, LLP. Her practice expertise includes estate planning, probate, trust administration, trust and probate litigation, business and real estate matters. Do you need an irrevocable sub-trust? Should you add your kids to your title? Do you need an advance healthcare directive? Those who attended got some powerful insights. There were a lot of great questions after. Clearly, many people have been thinking about this. Don’t be one of the 55% of Americans who pass without a will; get in touch with an estate attorney to put your affairs right. Let me know and I can put you in touch with Vidhya.
And please put our next Information Happy Hour on your calendar: April 21, 5:30-7 at Vivace Ristorante. Leman Woo from Loan Depot will discuss how to be a savvy investor or first time home buyer. If you are getting started in real estate, or plan to increase your portfolio, you shouldn’t miss this presentation.
