Bring the beads and we’ll provide the bands! Celebrate Mardi Gras Carnival at the “French Quarter” in downtown Redwood City, where the public is invited to come disguised for the occasion. Mardi Gras Carnival will transform Broadway into Bourbon Street from Jefferson to Main Street. The main stage, located at Broadway and Main, will showcase original New Orleans swamp rock, funk, and blues. Learn more

Our three-day performance spectacular will transport your spirit to Russia of old with ballads, folk songs, ballet, folk dance, and much more; featuring such popular groups as the Slavyanka Russian Chorus, the San Francisco Balalaika Ensemble, Konevets quartet from St. Petersburg, Russia, local favorites Nikolai Massenkoff, world-renowned bass, Natalia Borisova’s Russian Collection, Russian Center Dancers, and Vladimir Riazantsev. The Art of Espalier

Selection, care, and pruning – the art of Espalier! Arnie Cornez prunes at Hakone Japanese Gardens, the Los Altos History Museum, among other public and private gardens. Arnie will address the why, what, and where one uses the two-dimensional form of an espalier—being for fruit, hedges or for decorative floral purposes. He will demonstrate the key elements of aesthetic and bonsai style pruning on several out of balance plants using different tools. Learn more
